Intel and equipment manufacturer Datamini, announced the launch of TPOS7 Janunnati Tablet or the ‘Janunnati Pad’.
The Janunnati Tablet is the first of its kind – enterprise class mobile device which comes with integrated STQC-certified fingerprint scanner for Aadhar authentication. This Aadhar Enabled Tablet by Intel is launched to support the Government’s ongoing flagship programs such as ‘Digital India’ and ‘Make in India’.

Targeting at the Government’s various flagship welfare programmes, Intel, and equipment manufacturer Datamini has launched TPOS7 – Janunnati Pad.
Janunnati Tablet is an enterprise class touch-enabled mobile device with integrated STQC-certified fingerprint scanner for Aadhar authentication.
Company officials said that Janunnati Tablet can be used to help in the implementation of key e-governance initiatives like DBT (Direct Benefits Transfer) via Aadhar-linked savings bank accounts of beneficiaries, through the built-in fingerprint scanner, payments card reader, and barcode scanner.
This Aadhar Enabled Tablet by Intel can also be deployed in the ‘Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana’ (PMJDY), to extend banking services to the rural and urban poor, make wage payments linked to Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), deliver subsidised foodgrains to BPL families via the e-PDS (Public Distribution System), monitor public health services under the National Health Mission (NHM) and so on.
Similarly, insurance companies, banks, and other private organizations can also use it for various purposes including e-KYC.
The Datamini TPOS7 Janunnati Tablet was unveiled by Mr. Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog, Govt. of India.

Janunnati Tablet will be priced between Rs.12,000 to Rs.20,000 and it will come with two variants – 3G enabled and 4G on demand.

THE FEATURES AND SPECS OF THE JANUNNATI TABLET ARE AS BELOW
According to Datamini, it is planning to manufacture 1 to 1.5 Lakh units of Janunnati Tablet in a year from its manufacturing facility located in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The tablet will be delivered on pan-India level and after sales services will also be available across the country.
“The cost per transaction for KYC is between Rs 1500-1700 and machine like Janunnati Tablet can reduce that cost to Rs 10. India needs such kind of machine that has the potential to solve India’s problem.” Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog said While unveiling the device.
We also feel that devices like Janunnati Tablet can help to reduce the cost as well as can increase the potential to solve many problems of this country.
