How to link Aadhaar Card to LPG Connection and Bank Account

Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG Consumer is the scheme introduced by Central Government.
According to this scheme when you receive your LPG Cylinder you have to pay the full market price and i.e., non-subsidized price and the remaining subsidy amount will be deposited to your account which will be advance for the next cylinder you book.



Link Aadhaar Card to LPG Connection and Bank Account

  • This scheme is applicable for 9 Cylinders in a year after that you have to wait till next year for the subsidy.
  • In this scheme you have to link your bank account with your Aadhaar Card or else you are not eligible for the subsidy.
  • If the gas connection is in the usage of somebody else name .Then in that case you need to link that (his/her) person’s bank account with his/her Aadhaar Card .
  • If the gas connection name exists on a person who is relocated/Not Alive then in that case subsidy will not be provided to anyone.

Eligibility for Subsidy

You need to have LPG Connection on your name. If in case it is in the name of other family member’s then they should have an Aadhaar Card and Bank Account.

Procedure  to  Get Your Bank Account and LPG Linked to Aadhaar Card

If you already have Bank Account ,AADHAAR Card  and LPG Connection follow the steps described below.

Link your Bank Account to Aadhaar Card
  • Get the Bank Linking Application Form with Aadhaar from your LPG Distributor:
  • You can get the Bank Linking Application Form with Aadhaar  in two ways one is online and the other is offline. The Bank Linking Application Form form is called Form 1.
  • You can download the Bank Linking Application  form online which will be in pdf format and you can find offline application form from your LPG Distributor as well.
  • Then the person whose  name is LPG registered must fill the Bank Linking Application Form and have to attach a xerox/print out of his/her Aadhaar Card.
  • After the Bank Linking Application Form is completely filled with your details including 12 digit Aadhaar Number it should be handled to your Home Branch which means where your personal account is registered and an acknowledgement slip will be given.
  • You can also submit the Bank Linking Application Form to your LPG Distributor.

Link your LPG Gas Connection to Aadhaar Card

  • After you have submitted Bank Linking Application Form in your personal bank successfully the second step is to link your LPG Connection to Aadhaar Card.
  • You can get the LPG linking Application form online which will be in pdf format or you can also get it from your LPG Distributor and this form is called Form 2.
  • Fill the form completely with Capital Letters and after filling the form attach it with two more attachments.
  • The first one is Xerox of first page of DGCC Booklet and
  • The second one is Xerox of  recent cash memo.
  • In case if there is any change in address then you should also attach a copy of Address proof .Check  Aadhaar Card Documents Required .
  • Submit all the LPG linking Application form and the Xerox of all the documents needed to your LPG Distributor.
