E aadhar card status

To check status of aadhar card by sending sms through mobile, send an SMS as “UID STATUS <14 digit enrolment number>” (e.g. UID STATUS 23232323232323) to 51969.

You have to send sms through registered mobile number

If your aadhar card is generated then you will receive the aadhar card number, otherwise you will not get the aadhar card no of your card.

Check aadhar card status online through website

There are various more methods to check aadhar card status, like Aadhar card status check online through e aadhar website. To check the aadhar card status online you need to have an acknowledgement slip that you have received on the day when you applied for aadhar card. On acknowledgment slip there is two number ie. 1. 14 digit enrolment number 2. 14 digit date and time of the enrollment. Now enter these 14 digit number in the respective box to the e aadhar portal. If your aadhar card is completed then you will get the new adhar card in digital form with all detail otherwise you will get the current status of your aadhar card

How to download e aadhar card online and print it
  • Head to the e-Aadhaar page on the UIDAI website. Select Aadhaar next to I have.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number, full name and the PIN code of your residential address. Key in the characters in the image in the field Enter above Image Text.
  • Click Get One Time Password. This one-time password will be sent to your phone number if you click Confirm in the pop-up. Alternatively, you may click Cancel and have it sent to your email address.
  • Enter the password you received into the form next to Enter OTP.
  • Click Validate & Download Print Online.
