Government of India is issuing Unique Identification number (UID) / Aadhaar number to residents of India through Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

How to Link your Aadhaar Number with Yes Bank Account

As per Gazette notification of Government of India dated 1st June 2017, it is mandatory for customers (Individual Savings Account Customers, Authorized Signatories of Non Individual Entities Current Account Customers & Credit Card Customers) to link their Aadhaar number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in the Bank records to experience uninterrupted operations in the bank accounts and credit cards.

3 ways to help you link your Aadhaar with your YES BANK accounts

Update Aadhaar through YES BANK website

  • Click here to get started.
  • Enter Customer ID, PAN, Date of Birth. In case of Savings Account, enter primary Customer ID and in case of Current Account, enter any one Customer ID of Authorised Signatory. This is required to authenticate the Customer ID as being a YES BANK customer.
  • You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on the mobile number registered in the Bank records.
  • On successful authentication, the following additional details will be fetched automatically by the system.
  • Customer ID – Including Customer ID held in Individual & AUS capacity
  • Account Number (masked)
  • PAN masked against each account
  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number or select ‘Aadhaar Not available’ as the case may be.
  • If Aadhaar number is entered, input the OTP received from UIDAI.
  • After successful verification by UIDAI, your Aadhaar number will be updated in the Bank records and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number with YES BANK.

Update Aadhaar through YES BANK Retail NetBanking

  • Click here to login to NetBanking.
  • Select “Requests” and click on “View / Update Aadhaar”
  • Enter Aadhaar Number & then re-enter the same for confirmation.
  • Accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Submit’.
  • Confirm the Aadhaar number submitted.
  • Enter OTP (One Time Password) received from UIDAI on your registered mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
  • After successful verification by UIDAI, your Aadhaar number will be updated in the Bank records and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number with YES BANK.

Update Aadhaar through YES BANK Branch

  • You can personally visit your nearest YES BANK branch with your original Aadhaar Card.
  • Fill the Aadhaar Update Form available at the branch.
  • Submit duly filled and signed request to the branch.
  • After successful verification by UIDAI, your Aadhaar number will be updated in the Bank records and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number with YES BANK.
