Government of India is issuing Unique Identification number (UID) / Aadhaar number to residents of India through Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

How to Link your Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account

All government benefits will be routed through the individual’s bank account linked with to Aadhaar / UID number. Linking your Aadhaar / UID number to your RBL Bank Savings Account is mandatory if you want to to avail government subsidies / payments, directly to your bank account.

You can update your RBL Bank Account with Aadhaar Number through any of the following mode:
  • Link Aadhaar with UIDAI OTP 
  • Internet Banking
  • MoBank App
  • RBL Bank's ATM
  • SMS from registered Mobile Number 
  • Visit any RBL Bank Branch with a copy of your Aadhaar Card

Benefits of Linking your Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account

Updating Aadhaar number in bank records, helps in Receipt of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of LPG subsidy directly into Bank account. Receive direct credit of other government subsidies like welfare funds, pensions, scholarships, MNREGA wages etc. into your account

Update Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account through Aadhaar OTP
  • Click Here to visit the “Aadhaar Link” page on our website 
  • Mention your Customer ID & 12 digit Aadhaar number on the page. Please follow the instruction given on page to know your customer id if you do not remember it 
  • If you wish to link Aadhaar to your Savings Account for government subsidies/benefits, click on YES under “Aadhaar Seeding”
  • Click on “Request OTP”, this will lead to an OTP being triggered from UIDAI end to the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar
  • Enter the OTP received on mobile number linked with Aadhaar and click on Submit
  • Your Aadhaar number will be linked within 5 working days

Update Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account through Internet Banking
  • Login to Internet Banking & Select “Service Request” section
  • Click on “Bank Account” 
  • Click on Update/View Aadhar
  • Select Customer Id (CIF) & Account number against which Aadhar number needs to be linked
  • Input your Aadhar number. You need to re-enter the same and click on “Submit”
  • You will receive acknowledgement message 
  • Your Aadhar number will be linked with your account within 3 working days 

Update Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account through SMS
  • Type “UID < 12 Digit Aadhaar Number > < Last 4 digits of your Account No.> 
  • Send SMS to 5607022 from your registered Mobile Number 
  • You will receive an acknowledgement message 
  • Your Aadhaar number will be linked with your account within 5 working days 

Update Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account through ATM
  • Visit your nearest RBL Bank ATM and use your Debit Card & PIN 
  • Choose the option “Others” on ATM home screen & then choose “Next” 
  • Choose “Next” and then select “Aadhaar Seeding” 
  • Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar Number and confirm
  • Re-enter your 12 digit Aadhaar Number and re-confirm
  • You will receive an acknowledgement message on ATM Screen
  • You can opt for acknowledgement slip for your records and tracking purpose
  • Your Aadhaar number will be linked with your account in within 5 working days

Update Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account through MoBank
  • Login to MoBank & Select “Accounts/Deposits/Loans” section 
  • Click on “Update/View your Aadhaar” under Request 
  • Select the Account number against which Aadhaar number needs to be linked 
  • Input your Aadhaar number. You need to re-enter the same and click on “Submit” 
  • You will receive acknowledgement message 
  • Your Aadhaar number will be linked with your account within 3 working days 

Update Aadhaar Number with RBL Bank Account through Branch
  • Visit your nearest RBL Bank Branch along with Original Aadhaar document / E-Aadhaar 
  • Fill the application form available at the Branch and submit along with copy of Aadhaar document 
  • Your Aadhaar number will be linked with your account within 5 working days

I am Unable to access Aadhaar Online Services / Website from outside India. Please suggest?

UIDAI's official website i.e. www.uidai.gov.in doesn't have any such restriction and should be accessible from anywhere. However, some of the UIDAI web based features like Resident Portal, eAadhaar, Self Service Update Portal (SSUP), Aadhaar Linking Status etc are Geo-Based policy enabled and therefore, will not be accessible from outside India.
