As per the amendment in Prevention of Money Laundering Second Amendment rules issued vide The Gazette of India notification dated June 1, 2017 and amendments thereof, all account based relationships should be updated with Aadhaar by 31st March, 2018 or six months from the date of commencement of account based relationship, whichever is later, failing which the accounts will be blocked.

- Log on to Citibank online with your User ID and IPIN
- Click on “Update Aadhaar” in the left panel under the Banking or Credit Card tab
- Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
- You will receive a confirmation regarding the status of your request to update your Aadhaar number with Citi within 7 working days after you submit the request.

- To update your Aadhaar number through CitiPhone
- Simply call 1860 210 2484/022 4955 2484, follow the IVR menu options and key in your Aadhaar number when prompted. Please keep your debit/credit card handy.

- As per the recent guideline from UIDAI, Citi Bank longer accept Aadhaar update requests via SMS with effect from Dec 5, 2017. Please login to Citibank Online or Citi Mobile to update your Aadhaar. All SMS requests received on or before Dec 5, 2017 will be acted upon as per the earlier process.
