The first and foremost official Aadhar Card website is uidai.gov.in. Although, no important Aadhar card related task can be performed on it, uidai.gov.in is still the main gateway for official Aadhar Card and UIDAI news. On this website, you will find the latest updates, press releases and also, the links to several other important Aadhar Card websites. Technically, another extension (sub-domain as it is called) of the above mentioned website, i.e. resident.uidai.net.in is the one Aadhar Card website for most of your ID card related issues. Other Important Aadhar Card Websites

Another extension of the main official Aadhar Card website is aadhar.uidai.gov.in and as the name suggests, this is the site dedicated to E-Aadhar Card. On this page, you will be able to download Aadhar Card after providing certain information like Enrollment ID/Aadhar Number. Another important Aadhar Card website is the UIDAI’s Self Service Update Portal (ssup.uidai.gov.in). On this website, you would be able to update your Aadhar Card details like:
  • Name
  • Age
  • Address
  • Mobile Number
You need to make sure that you have a registered mobile number linked to your Aadhar Card, as it is mandatory if you need to update your Aadhar Card details online. An OTP would be sent to this mobile number, when you enter your Aadhar Number on the details update page (link given above). After entering this OTP and the security captcha, you can proceed with the Online Aadhar Details Update.

If you do not have a mobile number linked to your Aadhar, you would not be able to update your details online. In that case, you can submit an offline request for the update of details, this could be done by sending the completely filled update form (along with the required documents) through post.
