Aadhar is the 12 digit number that is issued by the government of India to the citizens. The Unique Identification Authority Of India which is also known as the UIDAI functions under the planning commission of India and it is this body which is responsible for management of the Aadhar numbers and the Aadhar identification cards.

There are two ways to check your Aadhar card status online, you can do it either by clicking on the direct link that we have provided to make your work easier or, you can do so by logging into the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

In order to check your Aadhar status by logging in to the website, have a look and follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: As mentioned before, the primary step in order to check your Aadhar card status is to go to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) which is www.uidai.gov.in .

Step 2: Once you have landed on the website, look to your right and you will find a list of some links. Simply click on“Aapka Adhar” option and wait till you are redirected.

Step 3: Clicking on the ‘aapka Adhar’ option will take you on a different webpage in which you will again have multiple options. Take a look at the bar which is blue in colour on the top, it will have six options namely home, resident, registrar, partner, students, others, Select the “Others” option.

Step 4: Once redirected you will need to look at the options listed on the left side under the “Others” heading. One of the options will be “Resident Portal”, click on it.

Step 5: An entirely different website will open with various options in rectangular boxes. Find the“Check Aadhar status” option and click on it.


Step 6: A digital form will now be in front of which you will have to fill in. Enter your enrollment ID and the date or time and click on“Check Status” option.

Step 7: Once you complete the above process, Your Aadhar card status will be displayed upon your screen.
